…..and Boris Johnson tells us one thing, but his advisors say the exact opposite
The last 24 hours have seen the Covid19 narrative – blamestormed as the cause of stock market collapse, with the finger being pointed at Beijing – unravelling on several fronts. Alongside this, several contradictions in the PaniCovid ‘lockdown’ approach look suspiciously unlikely to live up to either death-rate predictions or promises of efficacy.
Specifically, the Chinese have added more detail in relation to World Military Games in China of last October.
The 300-stong US contingent stayed at the Wuhan Oriental Hotel. It is located a mere 300 meters from the Huanan Seafood Market, where China’s outbreak began.
Five of US troopers developed a fever on October 25, and were taken to an infectious-diseases hospital for treatment. Very rapidly, 42 employees of the Oriental Hotel were diagnosed with COVID-19. At the time, only 7 people from the market were thus diagnosed, though they were treated first. All 7 had contact with the 42 from the hotel.
The most sensational part of this account, however, is that prior to the Games, the American team had trained at a location near Fort Detrick – the military’s viral lab that was hastily closed down following ‘various deficiencies’.
The Beijing Government’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi, on releasing this information, formally asked US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for an explanation.
Immediately afterwards Pompeo went over Wang’s head and phoned Yang Jiechi, Chinese state councillor in charge of foreign affairs. Pompeo “begged” Yang not to release the details shown above. They have since been leaked. Pompeo has yet to respond.
If true, the Chinese dossier explodes the US narrative about Covid19 being an escapee from Wuhan’s own germ warfare lab. It also fully supports The Slog’s research suggesting that C19 may have been bioengineered – but definitely not in Wuhan. But above all, it gives Washington an awful lot of explaining to do about its athletes.
Meanwhile – despite the continuing banner headlines about ‘explosive’ infection rates and ‘surging’ death totals – today the Dow Jones is up a staggering 11.4%. Which in turn drills a large hole in the ‘Covid19 to blame for Stock market collapse’ nonsense.
Almost equally sensational is the revelation of a yawning gap between what UK Prime Minister Boris is telling the public about “the dangers” of Covid 19, compared to what health professionals are being told at the GovUK site:
‘As of 21 March 2020, COVID-19 is no longer considered to be a high consequence infectious diseases (HCID) in the UK.
The 4 nations public health HCID group made an interim recommendation in January 2020 to classify COVID-19 as an HCID. This was based on consideration of the UK HCID criteria about the virus and the disease with information available during the early stages of the outbreak. Now that more is known about COVID-19, the public health bodies in the UK have reviewed the most up to date information about COVID-19 against the UK HCID criteria. They have determined that several features have now changed; in particular, more information is available about mortality rates (low overall), and there is now greater clinical awareness and a specific and sensitive laboratory test, the availability of which continues to increase.’
This can’t be dismissed as just incompetence: the public is being told outright lies by the Prime Minister. But then, he lied about Skripal, he lied about Taxi emissions, and he lied about phone hacking.
What we are seeing across the board with this “global emergency” story is at best opportunism, and at worst a concerted plan to mislead about the origins, purpose and real health threat of this new Coronavirus strain.
Further, despite The Slog’s so far unanswered accusations of ludicrously high death-toll projections, Macron has today issued an even more strict ‘formule’ or attestation which all citizens must now carry with them when leaving the home.
Most observers have been staggered to learn that over 94,000 French people have been fined for not having the attestation with them, and the fines are about to be increased.
It is hard not to see this as another cynical exercise in tax collection by the Elysée Palace.
Sadly, COVID19 is rapidly turning into one of those topics bedevilled online by myopic thinking, conformity in the face of obvious doubt, troll swarms diving in to offer personal insults (but zero evidence) wholescale disinformation among the MSM titles, and a choice between the propaganda of two competing superpowers.
For me, what we’re looking at here in general terms is the final fruition of a cultural tragedy – that is, the emergence of a hopelessly conformist electorate that prefers blind belief to evidential analysis on the one hand; and the steadily growing influence in the West since the late 1950s of Unelected self-styled élites driven to an insane degree by greed and power.
The problem of detection much of the time is the reality that élites come in all the sizes and all the colours – bureaucrats, military men, political leaders, spies, media gargoyles, ideologues, Globalist big business, diplomats, senior police officers and Bourse-active bankers.
Time and again, these people lie to us, demand money from us, cheat us and use a tone more apt for addressing dog excrement on their shoes than human beings who – by and large – just want to be left alone.
The success of the 3% is based on the citizenry’s distraction, communal laziness, naive discernment skills, outright ignorance and preference for conformity over practical philosophy.
But the various corporacrats have more recently proved (to their own satsfaction at least) that the majority of The People alive today can be convinced by any old tosh, and cowed by the force of illiberal laws.
Predicting what might happen from here is a mug’s game: all one can expect with any degree of certainty is that, without more doubt and discernment by the 97%, we are heading for sefdom.
