“It was nearly two weeks ago that Jill and I paid our respects to Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick, who laid in honor in the Rotunda after losing his life protecting the Capitol from a riotous, violent mob on January 6, 2021.
Today, 57 Senators – including a record 7 Republicans – voted to find former President Trump guilty for inciting that deadly insurrection on our very democracy. The Senate vote followed the bipartisan vote to impeach him by the House of Representatives. While the final vote did not lead to a conviction, the substance of the charge is not in dispute. Even those opposed to the conviction, like Senate Minority Leader McConnell, believe Donald Trump was guilty of a “disgraceful dereliction of duty” and “practically and morally responsible for provoking” the violence unleashed on the Capitol.
Tonight, I am thinking about those who bravely stood guard that January day. I’m thinking about all those who lost their lives, all those whose lives were threatened, and all those who are still today living with terror they lived through that day. And I’m thinking of those who demonstrated the courage to protect the integrity of our democracy – Democrats and Republicans, election officials and judges, elected representatives and poll workers – before and after the election.
This sad chapter in our history has reminded us that democracy is fragile. That it must always be defended. That we must be ever vigilant. That violence and extremism has no place in America. And that each of us has a duty and responsibility as Americans, and especially as leaders, to defend the truth and to defeat the lies.
That is how we end this uncivil war and heal the very soul of our nation. That is the task ahead. And it’s a task we must undertake together. As the United States of America.”
I only wish George Carlin was still with us to go further than I feel like at the moment. I am in fear for America and the coup that is under way. It’s laughable, is it not? Government stats lie about unemployment and underplay the rate of inflation; senior State banks rig the price of gold via an intra-selling scam; Congress approves a $780 billion bailout for the banks; the Fed rigs the markets with Zero rates and a long splurge of junk-buying risibly named Quantitative Easing; quoted companies shell out crooked dividends with money thus effortlessly borrowed…..so the Dow winds up at 31,500 during a long-term global recession turned into a slump by Covid19 lunacy.
But woe betide any smart-Alec indulging in ‘Gamestop mania’ as the Journal calls it, for it is written that verily, thine hand will be chopped off and the Men in Tights shall be summarily hung by the Sheriff of Wall Street. Everyone in the MSM seems to be throwing excrement at RobinHood, but for the life of me I can’t see what grenwood guys did except keep money tight in the face of sudden trading association charges. It’ll be nice to see Janet Yellen’s return, and what effect if any that has on the casino’s bent wheel. Stand by for more Yellen-yelled answers that begin with a piercing “Seeeeeeohhh”. She does have the most irritating voice on the planet.

Spoken like a fully paid-up member of the silent coup d’état club. The parallels are real enough: two leaders ruling through edicts and lies, both answerable to higher authorities, both pretending to be ‘just like us”, and both with long histories of being in bed with monied surveillance.

Around the globe, a few rich men are preparing to steal most of the People’s money, a few unelected men have put a Woodentop into the Oval Office, a few powerful media gargoyles are censoring, deplatforming and smearing anyone who speaks the Truth, and the globalist Health sector is bankrupting the world on the basis of a few mad billionaires, a virus about as deadly as a cholocate rope, and corrupted virology researchers.
But the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom sees it all as “kerfuffle and toings and froings”.
