The Slog predicted a snippet would appear before long about a political Mrs, but this wasn’t the story we were expecting….if you can call it a story. So David Cameron’s wife ‘might’ vote Labour, a forthcoming documentary will suggest.

The Mail is stuck in the age of women as chattels, but even so I’m amazed if anyone’s surprised by this ‘news’.

As a pair they seem to be pretty right-on, and Cameron has revealed many times before that his wife is to the Left of him.

But it remains the Mail’s task in life to ensure we get a nutter in charge of the Tory Party, so this is what one must expect.

A more lively tale is likely to be the one involving Mr & Mrs Bercow….if their opponents can stand it up before the Big Day in May.
