David Cameron offered Nick Clegg an all-Party Committee of Enquiry on voting reform at 2.30 this afternoon.
The Tory leader made a comprehensive, clear and persuasive case for a deal with the Cleggies “that goes beyond merely being an arrangement”.
He also clearly gave ground on the Liberal Democrat desire to have their reforms enacted.
In The Slog’s view, we are heading for a Tory/LibDem coalition. I think Brown will have resigned by tomorrow at the latest.
