The Reuters site is one of my favourite places: never short of good insights and contrarian views, and as good a steer on Asia as you’ll find anywhere. But like all things geekesque, it has hysterically funny moments.
There’s an article billed on the site right now by Peter Sims called What Google could learn from Pixar. It sounded like a goodie, so I followed the link and got this:
‘Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here’.
Apart from “I did not have sexual intercourse with that woman”, it’s up there with the funniest things ever unconsciously said or written. Even better than “If I can put into words what the Prime Minister just said”, it has the full set: the blindingly obvious, but in a delicate melange with unwarranted blame and eastern mysticism.
This could catch on. Who needs ‘Error 404’ when you can say ‘You have taken a false step on the road to enlightenment, grasshopper’?
