Have you seen ads placed by Google on this site?

Over the last ten days I’ve been getting reports of ads appearing from time to time at The Slog.

Although they don’t show on my browsers, they do on those of others. This is an example sent to me this morning:

As you can see, it was placed at the bottom of today’s piece about dirty goings-on at the Daily Barclaygraph. The ads are completely unauthorised by me: not only did I not ask for them, I specifically don’t want them from Google, whose subsidiary Blogger I left to come to WordPress.
