The full and final results of the Blog awards are now in – including all the late kick-offs – and there is a bit of extra stuff to tell you.

As you know, The Slog as a site is now No 7 in the non-aligned blogs, and I me myself sit at No 5 in the fave-rave non-aligned blog authors.

But there is now an overall figure for the whole shebang – blogging about anything remotely to do with politics in the UK – and The Slog is at No 35 in the table of tables.

In fact, The Slog is equal 35th with Andrew Sparrow….and we are also joint first as the highest new entrants into the Hot Hundred.

Mind you, Andrew did have the full force of The Guardian behind him, which doesn’t really make it a fair fight, he said, grumble-grumble.

So morally, the Slog is the fastest-rising blog in the UK, Ithangyooo.

Lies, damned lies, statistics, etc etc etc.
