CHEAP (GOOD) WINE ALERT

Terrific Argentine Shiraz at the Coop

I haven’t posted about this sort of thing for a while, as a lot of the cheap wine available of late has tasted like it is….cheap.

But this 2011 Alto Mora Argentine Shiraz at the Coop is a major exception. It doesn’t have a silly alcoholic strength (12.5%) but what it does have is a very distinctively long, smooth taste.

At £4.99, this is bordering on unique. It normally costs around eight quid, so as long as it’s on offer at Coop stores, I suggest you get down there and clear the shelves. This is a seriously nice drop.
