What sort of Fellow is Ben Fellows really? One or two people in fairly high places are asking themselves some searching questions about our Benjamin. They have been thinking about his acting genes and undercover work on the telly….and wondering whether he might be using both to his personal advantage. But above all, they’re wondering exactly who his paymaster really is. They are encouraged in this thinking by the preponderance of dangerously unsubstantiated accusations he’s made. Perhaps, they muse, he might be batting for the other side.

Independent Greeks going their independent ways. I hear that MPs formerly loyal to IG leader Panos Kammenos are now at best formally loyal to him, and in most cases deserting noisily. While the Party is generally sane in preferring default to bailout, Kammenos himself shows frequent signs of bladder incontinence and bottom emissions. But the big question the few Greeks still interested are asking is, where will these departing Deputies go? Too right wing for Syriza, and too anti-bailout for Samaras, their only option appears to be  Golden Dawn, the only Party in history to the right of Hitler. Oh dear.

Suicide Nurse hanging: vindication for The Slog. Following revelations here last week and this about Ms Saldanha’s husband being unconvinced his wife killed herself because of the spoof call alone, the Telegraph catches up this morning to claim that one of her suicide letters was highly critical of staff and management at the King Edward VII Hospital in London last Friday.

Despite officials previously maintaining they were fully supportive of the nurse, their immediate calling in of the PR agency always looked suspicious to me. Now it looks like they were, um, less than supportive. Just fancy that.
