‘Sutch’ a shame he actually made elections interesting. I have lost it with all politicians and have this bluddy Scottish independence vote coming up.what do you do when you have no confidence in the whole bunch of them. I reckon if Sutch was still round he would be an excellent choice.

The mainstream media are up to their usual tricks of trying to rig the election. Funny how the claims about Lord Rennard happen to come out a week before an important by-election. Then there is the curious timing and motivation of Ukip’s Marta Andreason’s defection to the Tories. It’s times like this I think that no one will miss the old Press when they’re gone. They’ve almost become a caricature now.

H, you are spot on, it is almost futile to resist the bureaucratic tsunami of crap that engulfs everyday life. Going about my business from one office to another at the beginning of the month, I have staff waiting for my arrival in order to complete some work, I am held up on the 25. To make up for lost time, foot down on the M3 and theA303. Mobile speed safety camera clocks me doing 81 with so little traffic on the road I thought I had missed the end of the world. Result fine. Inform insurer, premium up 12%, despite 22years no claim and only 3 points on my licence. The law will remove the first 3 points in two months, the insurers in two years and two months. Result, fairly pissed off.
Next wave. A, quote “little reminder” from the “Head of Central Capture Unit”, ( what the eff is that about), telling me to renew my photo driving licence. More time wasted down the post office interacting with a cross between a Stepford wife and the comedy character whose line is “computer says nooooo”. Transaction completed, lighter for £24.50p and an hour of my time.
On balance, what does my country want from me? Wasting time dealing with crap or working hard and putting £25000 worth an hour of necessary product into the market place.

Oh, and if she can defect to the conservatives… she should not have been in UKIP anyway………… UKIP and the conservatives (and the other 2) are politically at odds………. there can be no meeting of minds with these incompetant, ignorant, dishonest, imbiciles.

And no I am not a member……. I just want more for our country and they are the best chance of getting it for the time being.

I would imagine such a sign has about as much effect as the two on my front door which explicitly ask junk mailers to desist – little or none. Our society has become so process driven that those with something to sell simply screen out any message which doesn’t fit the ‘yes please’ box, and plough on regardless; apparently, we no longer have the right to resist. Ranting at them doesn’t work either, they’ve all been genetically modified. Looks like we’ve just gotta hunker down and wait; industrial quantities of Optrex and a decent respirator will be useful as the smoke gets worse.

Unfortunately i think voting nobody is a vote for the establishment,start a protest group vote for spoilt papers,claim the £500 fee is disenfranchising the poor,if enough spoil their papers it is a endorsement to hold another Free election of the people for the people,were people can even stand has Independent Manifesto’s or form the Freedom, Accountability, Integrity, Responsible party

As an Eastleigh postal voter slumming it in France, ballot paper done and sent orf. Out of 14 “useless” candidates, eventually it came down to a hard decision between Elvis Loves Pets Party and Beer, Baccy and Crumpet Party…but the second lot smoke, meh.

…oh and the late Lord Sutch has been replaced by Howling Lord Hope who of course is also standing at this momentous contest.
