Spot on, especially his 3 step brothers, I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I’m A Victim.
I suppose this originates from the garden of Eden.
The serpent gives the apple to Eve. Eve says to Adam have a bite. Now they know everything?
God finds out and asks, “why did you eat the apple, Adam?”.
Adam said, “Eve gave it to me and asked me to eat it!”
God said, “Eve is that true?”
Eve said, “The serpent gave it to me and said eat it!”
God said, “Serpent, is that true?”
Serpent said, “Yes, that is true, but don’t blame me! you made me. So you are too blame”.
God said, “Fair enough, I suppose I did give you free will. It just proves no one is perfect”.

I’m inclined to think the origin of this “requiem for reason” is British, despite the well-known case of the spilled hot coffee, simply because criminals here (in the US) don’t tend to get better treatment than their victims, as opposed to the UK, and you’re also more likely to get away with defending yourself from a burglar in your own home. To a degree this is dependent on which state the offence occurred.

Nids,

the Real Gemz gets a thrill by pretending to be a woman. If you take a look at my response to We Are Doomed, it may give you a bit more of an idea. The Real Gemz copied my identity back in 2011 – and Mr Ward has tolerated this situation from that time onwards. Sadly he does not listen to my pleas, and would rather tolerate them than do the bidding of a mere female.

As to thigh gap, my thoughts were that Britain’s problem lay with Watford Gap.

We Are Doomed.

If you click on the gravatar of the Lady in Red, the image is a grainy screenshot of a photograph which has then been badly photoshopped. The question is why does this person wish to use THIS photograph? Take a look at my Linkedin profile and you will discover that this person is not representing him or herself with any degree of honesty. That is to say, they are misrepresenting the truth in this case with the intention to slander.

More importantly, the integrity of this blog is weakened by condoning such behaviour, of misrepresentation. Mr Ward, the blog owner condones the behaviours that are employed by the very politicians he so abhors. In tolerating fraud he tolerates the behaviours of the bankers he so abhors.

Integrity must be thorough, or it undermines itself.

If you wish to grasp the psychology of this aspect of trolling – which is a serious problem online – click on my gravatar and have a read. It will explain a great deal that you may not have known.

With this in mind, my “attacks” are far from pointless. I hope that this and the post on my wordpress blog will go a little way to explaining this. My point in not offering any argument against them is that Mr Ward knows perfectly well that these trolls are using false identities. As mentioned, this is something he openly stands against – which is then the more surprising that he should condone it!

OBITUARY FOR THE LATE MR. COMMON SENSE

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn’t always fair; and Maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I’m A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

RIP We shall remember you.

I’m also interested in this amazingly bitter feud between Gemz and Underwire. Gemz did say her ex sends her tacky underwear to annoy her, but personally I would find that hilarious rather than menacing. I thought underwire might be the ex, but he says Gemz is a guy. Now I’m really confused.
But on the subject of the Grauniad, they have a peculiar way (for a feminist rag) of spending inordinate amounts of space on female body part self-loathing. Check out the item on the thigh gap. Nobody I know whether male or female gives a sh1t about thigh gap, but apparently thigh gap is something about which we weep and wail and gnash our teeth all day long. Last week it was our hideous floppy upper arms. Why do we hate our bodies, they bleat? Erm … speak for yourself, cookie.

The answer is obvious. Make them wear the new mini-burqa that ends at the knee – so we can see their hairy legs.

Oh, on second thought that probably won’t work. The only reason they wear the burqa in the first place, is because if the Eastern hairy leg syndrome….. ;-)

One often finds both the Left and the Right defending the indefensible for ideological reasons that have nothing to do with reason itself. An example is the Left’s blind support for selected persecuted minorities irrespective of what these actually do, hence their apparent defence of all things islamic on principle. This allows them to disregard certain barbaric acts and customs as inconvenient facts best not examined as they might require reassessing those “principles”. Would that they put as much energy into reporting the daily persecution of Christians by Muslims all over the muslim world, as they do with Israel’s occasional purported ‘atrocities’.
