Anyone who canonizes that absolutely hideous cunning, capricious, charlatan, BoJo, has to be dangerously defective… (The Wit and Wisdom of Boris Johnson, introduced and edited by Harry Mount).
However… despite being distantly related to various political retards, his father, Ferdinand Mount, wrote a worthwhile book, The New Few: Or A Very British Oligarchy.

I really can’t stand Mr Brand; I can’t stand looking at him, I can’t stand listening to him and I can’t stand any talk about him. The Mr Ross episode that he was party to reinforced my detestation. So, I couldn’t care less what he says, thinks or does. Just another sleb for being a sleb, as far as I’m concerned. Can’t he just sink into oblivion?

Guy’s a twat but he says what many people are thinking. The young, especially, are pro European if for no other reason that European youngsters have been brought up in a school mileau where all faces were different colours and they have learned to live where the older generation didn’t. Don’t expect the kids to vote for anything other than what makes them happy in the Justin Bleiber here and now.

Russell Brands comment that voting for the present Political parties is a waste of time ,has hit a nerve of the Establishment
( they like to be taken seriously).. The comment also reflects the majority view of our young generation, especially the one million of 16-21 year olds who are unemployed and will remain so.
Politicians like to project a vision of gravitas, as if what they do is quite important ,when in reality they have been by-passed by the Financial class and are just pawns in the game,. The youngsters can sense this irrelevance and their non-partisanship in the charade ,that is politics ,reflects this.
As an aside, the determination of Camerons ConTrick party to push thru’ the H2s project raises questions. WHY? Who funds the project (the City). Who gains ( German contractors). It make s no financial or business sense. The whole project stinks of corruption in high places..
Our politicians are nothing but puppets, manipulated by the City and jump when told.
The young are our only hope to overturn this whole faux democracy charade that is our present system.

Sickening drivel, quite agree with you. The comments under it on the Telegraph page are deservingly scathing, and quite refreshingly untypical of the comments you might normally expect from Telegraph readers.
