I have a cunning plan! The plan is to do everything the Conservatives are doing but to tell people we’re different. And we’d have gotten away with it too if it weren’t for those meddling kids, pah!!

I was at a Household Waste Recycling Centre a week or so ago (bear with me, there’s a point to this) and was privileged to witness an extraordinary event. A small car hove into view but I couldn’t identify it – the driver had obviously been very busy that morning cutting back his hedging and had piled it high upon the roof of the car. About six feet high. It hung down the sides, over the back and over the windscreen and was held uncertainly in place by a variety of bungee cords and string. As his forward view had been obscured he had taken his shears to the front stuff and chopped a small hole about 12″ square in the foliage the better to see his way upon the Queen’s highway. All the other windows were totally covered.

My point? We are told by opinion polls that millions of people up and down the land are prepared to vote for the likes of Balls and his insufferable wife Ophelia. For Miliband too, heaven help us. As I watched that fool in his thatched car I felt a kind of weary resignation about Life, the Universe and everything. I have no reason to assume that he is a Labour voter – but smarter more intelligent people than he are prepared to vote for a party that helped bring this country to its knees. As George Carlin said, ““Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.”

This plan- does it involve him & his missus (sorry,”Partner”) Finding out yet more ways to screw the taxpayer for his/their “expenses”.Yeah,probably.Did any one expect otherwise?.Seriously?.
