Sometimes sites go offline for a few minutes (even half an hour) because their server has a glitch, or is being upgraded or serviced. That is why web hosting companies say “99% uptime”. Nothing to worry about, so much so that I am able to comment on your site.

Need to get at the current system logs, via support if no direct access, and see if there is any ckue e.g. database corruption or capacity or timeout issue. Also try developer tools and see what the system is actually trying to load per failed page.

I just visited your blog and as a result spent some time looking into the absolutely chilling story of the Pedro family and others in a similar situation. As a father of two children in their early teens who are known to social services (alcoholic mother), and having considerable first-hand experience of just how dangerous these so-called professionals are, I can only say that the last vestiges of any belief that we live in a civilised country are now entirely destroyed. Thanks to blogs like this and yours (and Sabine’s) a guttering flame is kept alight, but one can only wonder for how long. It is quite obvious that we are on the very brink of utter disaster. I hope this thread is not made to disappear..

Not that my comments are profound, but I must admit that the vagaries of WordPress have put me off commenting over the last couple of months. The time taken to compose something remotely cogent is often completely wasted when the comment fails to post. This may well be the purpose of the random nature of the screening and I am ashamed to admit that if this is the goal it is certainly working in my case.

I drew blanks yesterday morning for a couple of hours, the front page would load but none of the posts or comments, then things mysteriously righted themselves. It’s either the server or the servants.. just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you :(

Well, something is definitely going on. Yesterday my initial comment would not post. It had 2 paragraphs and a web link. I tried various permutations under different names – zilch. Then I tried just posting the link itself, which surprisingly went through. Since the link was the most contentious part of the post, this is strange. I’m sure many commenters have given up trying to post since it’s a very tiresome business.

If you use ad blockers – try turning them off or give them access to WP. They do cause problems as much as they block the stuff you don’t want.

Its fight time. I live in a street where the English civil war took place where real men used steal to cut each others throats because of their beliefs. I predicted Jo Cox, these politicians are corrupt and crooked. Banksters committing fraud on and industrial scale and no one goes down for their crimes! Remember Fred the shred who walked away with his 16 million pension after bankrupting RBS, where ordinary citizens lost their savings, while he walked away with political protection.

The Police will kick my arse for having a brake light out and Fred walks away with millions for committing fraud.

Politicians scamming your hard earned money for kit kats, toilet seats, and basin plugs. These people are toxic, they are nasty. But please realise this, the situation we are all in. The Police, the justice department, your teachers, social workers, NHS, are all dependant on the state, they know who butters their bread…. do you think they give a fcuk about you.

They will not fcuk up their money… their mortgage.

I worked in the NHS and as far as I am concerned it is a criminal operation…. I watched a girl that was paid full time to fill out their Facebook propaganda.
