Now that the Covidiots are heading for the hills in high velocity sports cars and to Hell with the women and children, the time has come for:
- The Global Pharma axis to distract attention and give front-row coverage to new deadly diseases being hyped and developed by the Hurled Wealth Organisation [WHO] in league with its allies in the Military permawar tendency.
- The Investment house-run legacy and online media to distort the real nature of those bio-weapons, and exaggerate the emergency need to solve global sovereign debt with digital currency controlled completely by the Smartphone super-spy
- The surveillance/secret States and blocs across the world to deceive citizens via the use of (a) mendacious propaganda and (b) censorship of all other opinion via the use of AI bot monitoring.
Regular Sloggers will be well aware by now of the ‘3D’ process I posit above. I tend to call such models Slogarithms. Other mantras include ‘Don’t comply, complain’, ‘Ignore what people say and focus on what they do’ and so forth.
Slogarithms are not meaningless slick adland myths: they’re informed by a career spanning three decades spent running market research projects, planning persuasion strategies, observing human denialism at close quarters, measuring sales effectiveness – and above all, writing about the certain failure of any marketing campaign based on mendacious claims.
Key words in that para above are effectiveness and persuasion. Over the last five years, I have observed with growing concern the collapse of blog/substack effectiveness online, and a disturbing increase in public apathy such as to render attempts at persuasion pointless. The overwhelming factors here are ISP fraud, an astonishing level of citizen naivety, controlled opposition via social media, subscription AI turning email into a hopelessly overcrowded medium, and the huge sums of money available to fund the relentless bombardment of populations by fearmongering State propaganda lies that never – at least, not in my experience – stand up to close empirical examination.
So as from today, The Slog will switch emphasis away from asking the blind to see, and towards evidencing the shortcomings of the institutions and gargoyles in whom they seem to have so much trust.
Equally, the posts will be shorter – something I’m sure most time-starved contemporary First World citizens want.
The reason is a simple one: I’m writing a novel.
The threefold rationale for doing this is first, in the long term, accessible literature usually winds up being more influential than OpEds; second, it takes me away from digital media and all the frustrations their remorseless lies produce; and third, the subject matter of the novel involves a strong central idea.
Have a good Wednesday. I’m not going away. I am simply adapting to changing times before they drive me mad…
