Caught in the Act

Below is the real hits data in relation to Yesterday’s Slogpost:

As you can see, it dwarfs previous days because of interesting but also very controversial denial of popularity allegations. I tried eight times during the following fifty-five minutes to see and snip the WP Jetpack doctored version of relative interest in the post. Every time I scrolled down, the page showed hits lower than the previous days but then – before I could snip – the dashboard disappeared.

Obviously an AI Bot monitoring my action and denying access.

So I bookmarked the page. Same result. This is as far down to the Jetpack “reportage” as I’m allowed to scroll:

For about 0.5 seconds I can see clearly a Jetpack fiction showing fewer than normal hits….but before I can snip and record, the Bot denies access.

Now if you were just an innocent recorder of reality, why would you do any such thing? And the answer is, to cover up a deliberate dilution of popularity designed to demotivate your own client.

I repeat: online is now Satan’s castle. It’s time to diversify back into Caxtonian reality.
