Yesterday, Elon Musk declared That he “owns everyone’s Twitter account”.
The message was classic Musk stuff: “Watch and observe how powerful I am – I own all of you in full sight and still you come here expecting free speech from my good guy-bad guy enigmatic presence – hahaha”.
So here’s some information for all those who spend hours per day using Elon Musk’s expensive Free Speech scam ‘X’.
These are the verified stats of the Wednesday and Thursday blogs at The Slog – ie, two uplifts of readership in a row:

The blip on the left invoved – as part of my merchandising effort – an hour spent working the room on X.
The blip on the Right shows the result with absolutely no X merchandising at all.
Spot the difference.
Conclusion: Elon Musk’s medium contributed NOTHING in the way of referrals to The Slog.
Elon Musk doesn’t own you at all. His power is utterly illusory. The only thing he owns is the narcissistic megalomania of his twisted psyche.
Something to bear in mind on this last Friday in November, folks: real stats do matter.
Previous evidence against the Accused can be found in these Slog archives:
Brief follow-up to the WordPress silly-buggers events of Thursday: the platform-cum-virus is now denying me access to all stats, help pages and comment settings on my blogsite.
I don’t care. I know who all my real followers are, I know why they visit The Slog, and I know how and when to alert them to a post wherein empirical reality humbles crude propaganda.
Enjoy your weekend.
