BREAKING….While the private sector contracts, it’s full steam head in the public sector.

EVEN THE PUBLIC SECTOR SHIFTING FROM PRODUCTIVE TO NON-PRODUCTIVE

NEW LABOUR EFFECTIVELY ‘BUYING UP’ UNEMPLOYMENT’

Shocking new figures from the ONS show that the economic recession has passed the bureaucrats by.

The Government stands accused this morning of using taxpayers’ money to mop up unemployment. For while private sector employment fell by 61,000 in the fourth quarter of last year, the year-on-year quarterly number employed by the State steamed ahead by 46,000.

And this disguises a more disturbing trend: for while public sector business concerns shed 13,000 employees, the NHS alone upped its payroll by a staggering 20,000.

No memos to the IMF, Moodys, Fitch or Standard & Poors, if you please.
