American Gary Brooks Faulkner was being questioned this afternoon by Pakistan’s ISI secret police, following an apparently self-confessed admission that he was out to assassinate Osama Bin Laden.

Last Sunday, the Slog and other media ran pieces demonstrating convincingly that both the ISI in general – and Peshawar, the main north-western city – are collaboration strongholds in the Pakistan regime/Taliban leadership relationship.

Initial research in the States and online suggests that Faulkner is a Born Again Christian of fundamentalist views himself. He is a 52-year old construction worker from California, and arrived in the region last June 3rd.
