Former overseas development secretary Clare Short will appear just one working day after Tony Blair’s evidence this Friday, The Slogger has learned.
Ms Short – along with the late Robin Cook one of the main Iraq dissidents in the Blair Cabinet – has been given a slot for Monday February 2nd.
I also understand that, although this depends on a final analysis of this week’s evidence, the Chilcot panel is close to calling for a re-examination of at least one previous witness.
Anyway – at last, the Slog’s much-vaunted dark lady steps out from the shadows.
More anon.
